His health has been failing for 18 months, being bedfast for almost six months. His pain was almost unbearable, but during this he was very patient. He was always of a loving and cheerful disposition, being very devoted to his family, his parents, and brothers and sisters. He was taken to the home of his parents April 22 and April 26 he was anointed. At this time he expressed himself willing to submit to the Lord's will, either to heal his body or take his soul. We have the full assurance that he is peacefully resting in the Arms of Jesus. And our dear one is at rest."

He leaves to mourn his early departure, father, mother, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers, besides a host of relatives and friends.
